a personalized nutrition plan to reach your goals
What should I eat to get the results I desire?
Can a dietitian help me manage my Type-2 Diabetes?
How does my diet fit with my individual body composition?
What, when, and how much you eat will have a huge impact on how quickly and sustainably you reach your health goals. Our in-house Registered Dietitian specializes in weight loss and metabolic diseases like Type-2 Diabetes, Fatty Liver, and others. Beginning with a thorough consultation, she will put together a personalized plan that will help you take your wellness to the next level.
At Body Measure, we focus on making sure your dietitian is fully equipped to help you optimize your results. Our comprehensive scans (DEXA Body, RMR, and FibroScan) provide detailed data about your unique body composition so your dietitian can create a customized nutrition plan just for you.
How can a Registered Dietitian help you?
Weight management
Weight can fluctuate for a variety of reasons, including over/under eating, fluid imbalances, hormonal imbalances, stress, age and inability to exercise due to injury. Fad diets and the volumes of misinformation available add to the confusion. Whether you need to lose, gain, or maintain your current weight, we can help you filter through fact and fiction for optimal health.
Chronic disease management
We provide education on chronic disease management and prevention including heart disease, type-2 diabetes, fatty liver disease, PCOS, cancer, and others. Depending on your level of readiness, we will help you enhance your diet to support your lifestyle and manage your health condition(s).
Sports performance and body composition
If you are an athlete, nutrition is key to optimizing your performance. We will assess your current diet in combination with your sport-specific energy requirements. You will receive nutritional advice to help you reach your physical goals based on your body’s nutritional and fluid needs.
Gut and digestive issues
Are you experiencing digestive-related issues such as acid reflux, excessive gas, abdominal bloating, diarrhea, or constipation? Do you have pre-existing IBS, gluten-sensitivity, or lactose intolerance? Nutritional assessment and advice from a registered dietitian can help you manage these symptoms and improve your overall quality of life.
Menopause
Menopause – the stage in a woman’s life when menstruation stops – typically in your late 40s to early 50s. The hormonal changes during this time can take a toll on the body. Diet can be a key factor to help you feel your best during this transition.
As always, our goal is your overall health and wellness. The Body Measure team is here to walk with you on your journey. We do not require that you have all our scans in order to book with our Registered Dietitian, but your nutrition plan will be more personalized and therefore more effective with complete data. Feel free to book an appointment and our team will be happy to answer your questions.
